Anthony Osei, DDS, PhD

Dr. Osei graduated from dental school internationally in 1998. He received further training and a fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After a short stint as a clinical assistant professor, he departed and embarked on his journey as a general dentist, serving in the Uvalde area, the Houston Metroplex, and currently, San Antonio. 

Dr. Osei is passionate about all things oral surgery and has received extensive training in those procedures. He offers sedation in his office and often reminds his patients that it is not always about pain management; anxiety reduction is important in making the dental visit memorable.

Dr. Osei believes that technology is the way of now and the future. With technology, the dental visit is immersive and allows everyone to participate in the conversation about improving their oral health. To this end, technology is a central part of his practice. All patients receive an intra-oral scan and an ability to visualize all that is going on so they can make a perfectly informed decision on how best to improve their oral health.

Dr. Osei is a family man with two little girls he adores. In his downtime, he spends time with his family. Sometimes, they travel to visit all the important sites in the city and those around the great state of Texas.
