Meet Dr. Anthony Osei of AB Dental and Oral Surgery

Dr. Anthony Osei is proud to be the first in his family of healthcare providers to become a dentist. Inspired by his own dentist growing up, Dr. Osei developed a passion for dentistry early on. He believes that the cornerstone of quality dental care is listening to patients and understanding their specific needs rather than projecting what we think they need. This patient-centric approach is critical to everything we do at AB Dental and Oral Surgery.

Professional Training

His extensive professional training and affiliations reflect Dr. Osei’s commitment to excellence. He has completed a Dental Public Health Residency and a Geriatric Dental Health Fellowship, equipping him with specialized knowledge in these areas. Additionally, Dr. Osei has undergone intensive Implantology training, accumulating over 1,000 contact hours in full-mouth rehabilitation and implant procedures. His qualifications include:

  • Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP)
  • Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI)
  • Teaching professor for the Live Implant Training Centers in Mexico and Nicaragua

Outside the San Antonio Dental Office

Our experienced dentist enjoys developing and flying model planes when he's not in the office. He is particularly fascinated by the “war birds” of the 1930s and 1940s, including the B17 Stratofortress and the P51 Mustang. Dr. Osei also admires Howard Hughes's flying achievements, which fueled his passion for aviation. These hobbies allow him to relax and bring a balanced perspective to his professional life.
